Sloggi's Love Cafe collection

Are you a coffee drinker? Do you like coffee? If yes, this is something cool you should get! Last Saturday, I attended Sloggi lingerie fashion showcase of their Eco-friendly collection at Desa ParkCity with GBGTV.
This is their 4th eco-friendly collection which called the “ Love Café “. They started this eco-awareness initiative since 2011 with “ Love World “, followed by “ Love Wild “ and “ Love Weather “ collections in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

So this year,  sloggi’s Love Café collection not only highlight fun sloggi signature motifs and eye catching colors. They’re all made from recycled coffee ground fabric. Using a highly innovative yarn produced in an energy efficient way which each chemical-free fabric delivers truly amazing natural benefits. Such as UV-resistant, quick drying, eliminates odor and keeps the wearer cool. I was kinda impressed when they told me about it because I didn’t know a coffee bra have so many good benefits unlike normal bras :o

The event started off with a “Malaysia’s first mobile fashion runway” A fashion parade that encompasses the 3Rs. Instead of building a stage, the runway only unfolds when models strut down green carpets that are rolled out simultaneously. The short green carpets will be “reused” and placed to create a simple yet interesting moving stage. Then, Models will be wearing Love Café lingerie which made of “recycled ” coffee ground fabric and models will saunter down the runway with beautifully-decorated bicycles which demonstrated sloggi’s support in “reducing” carbon emission.

GBG in action! All of us had to dress in green for this event and I think between nana and daphne I’m the only one who dressed the right color? Hahaha!

Enjoying my cup of coffee before I make my pledge

Use Recycle Bag!

This year sloggi aims to achieve 2,500 pledges on that day. Three lucky pledgers will stand a chance to win a 2D1N staycation at an eco-friendly hotel at Sekeping Serendah. Awesome ey?

Here’re some photos taken on that day,
